OK! Now that we have had our chicks for 10 days or so, I am not feeling so stressed out about them, and we enjoy them a lot more. I now have some cute pictures of the kids and our egg layers and thought I would share them.
First, this is Loco, our black frizzle . . . we call him/her that because we find him/her up on the water quite often. If you look at both pictures you can see how many more feathers have been added to this bird since we first got it. These pictures were only taken 4 days apart from each other.

This is Sky High, our blue frizzle. I like this chick, it's a beauty. GeoDe is holding Sky and Lydia is holding Loco.

This is Lucky, she's a little barred rock pullet. GeoDe's favorite.

This is how I found one of the chicks sleeping. We don't have all of them named . . . and really I don't know which chick this is. They are growing up so much.

This is how Dawn enjoys the chicks. She does not hold them on her own, she watches them a lot and then we let her pet it while we hold it. She did try to get in there with them at first, then she fell in and she did not really like that.

Here are George and Lydia posing for the camera. Who knows which chick they are holding. (They might, but I don't.)
