Love my Kids!

Here are my cute kids yesterday morning. GeoDe was enjoying the last of his yogurt, with cute bedhead. Here is Lydia's super sweet smile. (Little cheese with that grin)

Tomatoes

So George decided to pick ALL of our green tomatoes before it froze outside. After they sat in a box for a month I finally lined them all up on our shelves by the window and pulled out all the ripe ones.
Today GeoDe, Lydia, and I canned the ripe ones. So these are all "extra" tomatoes. Pretty fun.

SWEET CHOCOLATE

When Lydia was Trick-or-Treating at every door she would grab two candies (or more) and she would say that this one is "for Dawn." So one day she decided to get down Dawn's candy and let her eat it. I caught her with a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, unwrapped but not eaten yet. Thank goodness. The chocolate on her face was . . . umm, I still don't know. But she has not had any allergic reactions so we're good. This is the result of the first time.

2008 Babies

Here are the new Petersen babies of 2008! It's not easy to get 3 babies to look at you when you're taking pictures. Since Dawn's mom was behind the camera Dawn gave me a big smile. I did cut off Jason's head a little, I was trying to get them to look at me and not looking at the camera.
Jason was being shy . . . or something. And Holly is being a beautiful newborn. Aren't they cute?

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

This Halloween we were a Star Wars family. GeoDe started out wanting to be Han Solo but with the help of Mom and Devin he was convinced that Han was NOT a Jedi. So he decided to be Obi-Wan Kenobi (Episode I) and Lydia wanted to be Princess Leia (Episode IV). Obi-Wan needed Qui-Gon Jinn at his side so George dressed up as Qui-Gon. Lydia said I could be Princess Leia too, so we both donned the white dress and cinnamon rolls. Dawn'ae was R2-D2.


Lisa helped us do Obi-Wan's hair. He needed a braid so I sacrificed and gave him a lock of my hair. Thank you Lisa for your help :)

Sorry I didn't take any pictures of me and George. But we looked good too!

Trevor was Yoda and Enoch was Luke. So when we went over to Grandma's we had a light saber battle. (I think Obi-Wan may have turned to the dark side)
R2-D2 was sleeping at Grandma's so she wasn't able to be in the Star Wars picture.
But here she is looking at her loot.
