Christmas 2009

Christmas is always a wonderful time. This year was no exception. I did not take a lot of pictures, so here is a short video of the season.

Christmas morning the kids were a lot of fun. Lydia was the first one up and she was able to wake up GeoDe, which on most mornings is a difficult task, but not on Christmas! We let them go in and look at their stockings even though Dawn was not awake. She got up soon after. She walked in and grabbed a candy cane and started eating. When she noticed the new bike trailer she started saying, "ride." Now everybody calls it that. GeoDe was a excited to open presents, and thought he did not get enough. The other two were content to play with each gift until GeoDe forced another one into their face. It was a wonderful morning.

I love the Christmas season. I enjoy the decorations, the nativities, the excitement of children, and most of all the chance to focus on the Savior and His gift to us.
